Badger Mountain Vineyard is 100% organic producing organic red and white wines. They also produce a line of wines with no added sulfites/preservatives (wines have natually occuring sulfites). The tasting room is set in a little oasis with green all around. It's a great place for picnics weddings and private events.
Badger Mountain is the sister winery to Powers Winery, both are available for tasting in the winery tasting room. Bill and Greg Powers (father and son) have been growing grapes since the early 80's and went 100% organic in the late 80's. That has always impressed me, as organic hasn't always been popular, especially in the land of big agriculture where pesticides, fertilizers and chemicals used to rule.
