OS Winery, part of the South Seattle Artisan Wineries (SSAW), is located in South Seattle's South Park neighborhood in Western Washington.  They are situated in an industrial warehouse business park off of 14th Ave South along with :Nota Bene Cellars and Cadence Winery.

The OS stands for Owen Sullivan, as in Bill Owen, winemaker and Rob Sullivan, winery partner. These business partners couldn't be more different from each other.  You never know what you're going to get when you enter OS Winery.  The conversation could go in a million different directions when you're with Owen and it may or may not have to do with wine. He is knowledgeable in so many subjects and might randomly bring up a trivial fact to begin discussion. One thing you can count on, the conversation will be lively and fun.

Red wine is the main focus of OS Winery, offering a wide variety of blended and varietal wines to choose from at different price points.  They also produce a dry Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc for those in the group who prefer white wines.

OS Winery is open by appointment and on SSAW tasting event days. You'll likely get a local artisan cheese plate with your private tasting. The tasting room can accommodate medium sized groups and Owen will generally show off the wine production facilities to guests, often indulging them in a barrel sample. This is one winery visit you are sure to remember.
